/ nightWinnemucca Heights embodies a quiet, romantic getaway in the heart of America. Inspired by my own world travels, this unique rental gives way to remarkable views, eclectic artwork & cozy reading nooks. Ready to experience the snow-capped rockies from your private hot-tub, nestled in a canopy of untouched stars? Whether it be hiking in Pike Nat'l Forest, listening to live music in the funky town of Manitou, or being struck speechless by Garden of the Gods... The mountains are calling; welcome home. Designed by famous architect Elizabeth Wright (Frank Lloyd Wright's granddaughter), this space is unlike any other in Colorado. Enjoy a large front yard with a privacy fence and garden. The back deck has a new, private hot tub, bbq and additional seating so you can enjoy your coffee as the sun rises over the rockies. The open-floor layout includes landscape windows, hardwood floors and a real brick fireplace, as well as, HD tv and other entertainment. Spacious master bedroom includes a king-size, incredibly comfortable bed, along with a dedicated workspace, large tv and walk-in closet. You will constantly be discovering new artwork, practical homeware, and new ways to enjoy your stay! There is a separate guest suite for rent on the property located below you; Winnemucca Spa. You have no shared spaces and the entire listing shown here is private, including all amenities. Please note, both properties are adults only. To rent both listings see; Winnemucca Retreat. Most guests never see each other and many couples ask to extend their stay! You also have access to a private parking spot, a separate entrance, and the entirety of what's shown in this listing. Your entire rental is just for you and all spaces are private. Winnemucca Heights is located in Pike National Forest. Enjoy a walk around the magical lake of Green Mountain Falls, creek-side dining at the Wines of Colorado, or the Blue Moose Tavern for a cold drink. The Pantry offers the best breakfast around and there are unique shops for you to visit. You only need to step out the front door to explore one of the many mountain trails in the area, including a hike to multiple waterfalls. The North Pole is located just down the road, or take a drive up the 14,000 foot mountain, Pikes Peak, one of the only fourteeners in Colorado that you can drive to the summit! A 15 minute drive will take you to Manitou, one of the most unique towns in Colorado, where you can find the penny arcade, tons of restaurants and shopping options, and even enter the Garden of the Gods, a must see in Colorado. If you enjoy wild-life, I highly recommend the wolf rescue sanctuary. 4 wheel drive recommended during winter months (October - May). Taxis are also available or Ubers from Colorado Springs. The closest Ski slopes are 1.5 hours away, (Breckenridge & Copper Mountain) an absolutely stunning drive! I cater to romantic getaways… if you have any special requests, please let me know!

November 2025 5.00We had the most amazing time during our stay! My partner and I absolutely loved this beautiful home the views were stunning, and the space was cozy, clean, and so peaceful. The location is perfect: close to major sightseeing spots, hiking areas, and all the local town shops and restaurants. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone thinking of visiting Colorado Springs!

November 2025 5.00Absolutely loved our Airbnb. It was so unique and the view we had of the mountains was breathtaking. The pictures don’t do the justice. Kyla was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. Next time we are in Colorado I would definitely stay here again!

October 2025 5.00This was an incredible place to stay for our honeymoon! The view was breathtaking no matter what time of day it was or what room we were in. We loved looking at all of the artwork Kyla has collected while traveling. The hot tub and extremely comfortable bed were nice to come home to after a long day of activities!

October 2025 5.00AMAZING. Clean, felt remote enough but was still close enough to all of the stuff we wanted to do in the area! Fully plan to return as soon as we get the chance 🙂

September 2025 4.50Happy to Stay Here Positive: This home was welcoming, comfortable and clean. It's location was close to Hwy. 24 making it easy to get around. The views were beautiful and the rooms were large. Communicating with the owner was easy and responses were quick. Negative: Our only drawback was that there was not a washer or dryer on the premises.
